718 | BOHLER L718

A high temperature precipitation hardening, nickel based alloy with particularly high hot yield strength up to 750 degrees Celsius and excellent creep resistance up to 700 degrees Celsius. Bohler L718 has a high hot strength, comparable to normal hot work tool steels, particularly in applications with high mechanical and thermal stresses. Popular applications include gas turbines, aerospace engines, and chemical processing applications.
